Miles nears completion of a 3D-printed mosque in Dubai

Miles announced that a mosque printed on site in Dubai — which the company describes as the world's first built this way — was nearing completion. The project was delivered with Bonyan Engineering Consultancy as consultant and AVENCO Robotics as printing and technology partner, and Miles thanked IACAD and the Dubai Development Authority for their collaboration.

What was announced

Miles Building Contracting announced that a mosque printed on site in Dubai was nearing completion, and described it as the first mosque in the world built this way.

The project was delivered with Bonyan Engineering Consultancy as project consultant and AVENCO Robotics as 3D printing and technology partner, under a strategic partnership agreement between the two companies. Miles thanked the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and the Dubai Development Authority for their collaboration, and set the project against Dubai’s 3D Printing Strategy.
